Job Description: HVAC Install Manager

Location: El Cajon, CA | On-Site | Full-Time

Salary: $100,000 annually + performance bonuses and profit sharing

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Install Manager to lead our installation teams. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HVAC installation, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing and motivating teams. The Install Manager will be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring the highest quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, manage, and inspire installation teams, including seasoned installers with 10+ years of experience. Foster a positive work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and proud to be part of the company.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the installation department to achieve company goals, improve efficiency, and enhance service quality.
  • Project Management: Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of HVAC installation projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards by conducting regular inspections and ensuring all installations meet company and industry standards.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Champion exceptional customer service by promptly addressing issues, collecting customer feedback, and improving service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and advance their careers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including workforce, materials, and equipment, to optimize project outcomes and profitability.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 5 years in a management role. Experience leading teams of seasoned installers is essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing and inspiring teams to achieve high performance and quality standards.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and industry standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to promptly address and resolve installation issues.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications and advanced training in HVAC installation are preferred.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: $100,000, with annual increases based on performance.
  • Profit Sharing: % of net profit from the installation department (starting from 2nd year)
  • Quality Assurance Bonuses: Up to $20,000 annually for maintaining low callback rates and high customer satisfaction.
  • Retention Bonus: bonus for the first year with the company, increasing each subsequent year.
  • Professional Development: $500 per month for further education and certifications.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k) with 4% matching, paid sick leave, and vacation time.
