Paradise Hills is home to 515 people (as of 2011) and is located in the southeastern part of San Diego. If you’re spending a day in Paradise Hills, you might go to Paradise Hills Recreation Center or the Charles L. Lewis Memorial Skate Park. Paradise Hills is proud of the beautiful church that was moved there in 1973, Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. The church contains beautiful art, decorated by Count Berthold Von Imhoff, and finished by his son. A tour may be arranged at the church, or, if you fancy bird-watching, The Marsh lies northwest of the village. It is an excellent place to view a variety of birds, such as the hawks, vultures and many species of waterfowl.
